Position Overview:

  • Windows Clustering: Architect, configure, and oversee Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) to ensure high availability and effective disaster recovery.
  • Active Directory Management: Oversee and maintain Active Directory (AD) services, focusing on user and group administration, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and domain controller setups.
  • Privilege Access Management: Administer PAM solutions to secure access to vital systems and sensitive data.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud services on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring compliance, security, and scalability.
  • Data Replication: Implement DataKeeper for both synchronous and asynchronous data replication to guarantee redundancy and high availability.
  • PowerShell Automation: Create, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate system administration tasks and enhance processes.
  • Group Policy Management: Develop, adjust, and troubleshoot GPOs to effectively manage and secure Windows environments.
  • MSSQL Cluster Administration: Set up and manage MSSQL clusters to maintain database performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Troubleshooting Expertise: Identify and resolve intricate issues within Windows environments, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
  • Secure File Transfer Management: Implement and oversee Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) solutions and manage Globalscape for secure data handling.
  • Distributed Systems Management: Design, deploy, and manage distributed Windows-based systems to support business applications.
  • Microsoft Certification Maintenance: Keep relevant Microsoft certifications to ensure current knowledge and adherence to best practices.
  • Network Security: Apply security measures and best practices to fortify Windows servers and network infrastructure against potential threats.
  • Automation and CI/CD: Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and configuration management.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Produce and maintain thorough documentation for all configurations and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • 10-12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Windows Clustering, Active Directory, PAM, Azure, GCP, and other related technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Windows Server hardening practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA).
  • Azure/GCP industry certification.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with additional automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
