About the Role
As a Manager, Risk Partnering - Strategy (M&A) and Go-To-Market, you will be responsible for providing focused risk management support to Thomson Reuters functions and business segments. In this role, you will be supporting business stakeholders in decision-making by providing them with timely and relevant information to maximize value and minimize the risk associated with strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and go-to-market activities.

About You
You're a fit for the role if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and implementing risk management frameworks. Relevant professional certification (CRM or equivalent) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 6-8 Years of risk management experience, with knowledge of technology industry preferred.
  • Strategic thinking: ability to think critically, analyze complex problems and develop strategic plans to mitigate risks and leverage partnerships effectively. Proven track record in strategic risk advisory and partnership development roles
  • Demonstrate ability to stay abreast of industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly. Willingness to embrace innovation and explore new opportunities in industry.
  • Problem solving, analysis, judgment, analytical skills, experience with developing quantitative risk models.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to convey complex concepts and ideas in clear and concise manner. Experience in delivering compelling presentation to senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) and automation technologies (e.g., RPA, AI) preferred.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced team environment.
  • Interpersonal savvy (listening skills and empathy, strong written and presentation skills).
