Job Title: Senior Specialist

Description:

MX003 Marsh And Mclennan Servicios S.A. De Cv is seeking a Senior Specialist to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing and overseeing Operating System and hardware support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and oversee Operating System and hardware support.
  • Lead the team in ensuring server incidents and changes are managed within SLA.
  • Organize server management and monitoring tools to proactively manage infrastructure.
  • Handle installations, patches, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance tuning through approved change management mechanisms.
  • Execute diagnoses/repairs of system problems, utilizing available tools and working closely with internal groups and vendors.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with Corporate Security policies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Linux and Unix operating systems, including Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, and Solaris.
  • Superior scripting knowledge and the ability to develop server automation solutions, including automated builds, server maintenance, and run-book automation using Ansible or Oracle Linux Automation Manager.
  • Proven track record managing technical initiatives and working closely with different business groups.
  • Designing and implementing system-to-system interconnectivity with high availability and fault tolerance, as well as Domain authentication and various services.
  • Planning, installing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing Linux systems.
  • Advanced experience with Clustering solutions such as Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM).
