Position Overview

The role involves developing, nurturing, and overseeing Expeditors' global engagement with one of our premier clients in the industry. The objective is to ensure optimal business retention and growth by proactively addressing the customer's diverse operational needs across various functions and regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary advocate for revenue growth, facilitating strategic business planning and execution through leveraging global relationships and industry expertise.
  • Conduct comprehensive business reviews and workshops tailored to the client's needs, focusing on fostering collaboration and enhancing value while minimizing costs.
  • Drive alignment and cooperative efforts across multiple regions to identify and address the client's primary supply chain challenges and priorities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and product management teams to develop timely and relevant solutions that add value to the client's ecosystem.
  • Enhance Expeditors' revenue and profitability by delivering superior value-added services.

Scope of Position

The goal is to create a distinctive customer experience through total accountability and ownership of:

  • Understanding the client's profile, requirements, and expectations.
  • Retaining existing business while continuously pursuing new global business opportunities.

Business Development

Utilize strategic thinking and business acumen to conduct ongoing needs assessments, identify improvement opportunities aligned with the client's supply chain objectives, and collaborate to develop solutions that deliver measurable benefits.

Client Management

Build and maintain robust relationships across the client's organizational structure to understand dynamics, decision-making processes, and align with strategic executives, thereby achieving trusted partner status. Ensure effective oversight of operational needs and optimal execution for account growth through leadership and proactive communication.

Business Intelligence

Develop and maintain proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools for effective information gathering, performance management, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent business qualifications.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the industry.
  • Demonstrated success in business development.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Strong presentation and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to meet and exceed KPI requirements.
  • Proven problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Charismatic with a talent for building connections.
  • Fluency in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
