About the Role

In this position as a Manager of Risk Partnership - Strategy (M&A) and Go-to-Market, you will: Assist the organization in developing reporting frameworks and processes as it transitions towards a new strategic vision, enabling TR to make informed risk decisions that reduce risks while enhancing growth opportunities. Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Risk Advisory & Partnership to provide independent evaluations and challenges to risk mitigation strategies for a diverse portfolio of functions. Build and lead the broader Go-to-Market Risk Partnering team to support TR's various business segments. Supervise the integration of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework within the functions and segments you oversee (Strategy), facilitating essential risk activities through the implementation of consistent, regular, and repeatable risk assessment processes. Aid in the risk evaluation of key initiatives and projects within the portfolio function (Data & Analytics team) in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management program. Provide oversight and constructive feedback to ensure that risks across different functions and segments are effectively managed in accordance with established practices and risk appetite. Develop and sustain effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts both within and outside the organization. Oversee and facilitate the preparation of periodic risk reports for Senior Leaders, including Top and Emerging Risks and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Ensure that risk information reported to management clearly conveys key risks and emerging issues, supplemented with sufficient detail to enable informed decision-making. Lead the formulation and execution of a risk culture strategy for the segments, aiming to enhance risk awareness across TR by engaging senior executives and educating employees on the significance of ERM, while driving enterprise-level initiatives focused on advancing risk accountability and culture. Provide risk management training to the first and second lines to ensure a comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and applications. Conduct independent reviews and challenges of risk and issues registers to confirm that all significant risks have been identified and managed according to risk appetite and tolerance. Assist the functions you support with issues management and reporting. Support the implementation of a robust risk technology roadmap, ensuring that ERM tools and methodologies are integrated into the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool. Manage and promote the adoption of GRC tools, systems, and processes as a super user.

About You
You are a suitable candidate for this role if your background includes:

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field. Experience in conducting risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and implementing risk management frameworks. Relevant professional certification (CRM or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of 6-8 years of risk management experience, with a preference for knowledge in the technology sector. Strategic thinking capabilities: ability to critically analyze complex problems and develop strategic plans to mitigate risks and leverage partnerships effectively. Proven track record in strategic risk advisory and partnership development roles. Ability to stay updated on industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly. Willingness to embrace innovation and explore new opportunities within the industry. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and judgment skills, with experience in developing quantitative risk models. Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas clearly and concisely. Experience in delivering compelling presentations to senior executives and external stakeholders. Proficiency in project management methodologies, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) and automation technologies (e.g., RPA, AI) is preferred. Ability to manage competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced team environment. Strong interpersonal skills, including listening, empathy, and effective written and presentation skills.
