Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Management Specialist to join our team at Maersk. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for analyzing vendor performance, developing improvement plans, and implementing strategies to optimize our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically analyze vendor performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Design and implement dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance and track progress.
  • Act as a liaison between operations, procurement, and financial departments to ensure seamless communication and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain procedures to ensure standardization and continuous optimization of vendor management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, logistics, supply chain management).
  • At least 2 years of experience in vendor management, preferably in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Conversational English language skills.
