Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Vendor Management Office Lead to join our team at BeInCrypto. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a vendor lifecycle management framework to oversee planning and risk assessment, sourcing and selection of new vendors, managing data for vendor performance, and managing vendor off-boarding.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Vendor Management Framework: Design and roll-out a vendor lifecycle management framework to ensure effective planning and risk assessment, sourcing and selection of new vendors, and vendor performance management.
  2. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  3. Audit Support: Assist in all audits related to supplier management to ensure compliance and adherence to company policies.
  4. Operational Deficiencies: Identify operational deficiencies and escalate them to the appropriate resource to prevent potential problems.
  5. Risk Management: Identify risks associated with key vendors and manage/monitor supplier performance against negotiated Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Support the development of monthly reporting, facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers, and develop an Annual Supplier Portfolio Summary report.
  7. Collaboration and Communication: Proactively collaborate with business partners, strategic sourcing, and vendor risk stakeholders to operationalize the Vendor Management program, resolve supplier performance issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  8. Contract Review and Development: Review existing contracts and understand business requirements; formulate guidelines and design standard vendor contract protocols.
  9. Training and Development: Deliver relevant training content to business stakeholders to ensure a consistent vendor relationship management framework.
  10. Ad Hoc Projects: Support other ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management experience; in a high growth technology environment preferred.
  2. Contract Management: Experience working with contracts, including understanding of Data Protection Agreements, Master Services Agreements, and execution of Statements of Work and Order Forms.
  3. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferably in Procurement, Business Administration, or related field. MBA/advanced technical degree preferred.
  4. Skills: Strong relationship building, communication, and project management skills to demonstrate project status, key actions, risks, and opportunities.
  5. Self-Directed: Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  6. Nimble: Nimble with the ability to take decisive action to address business needs that meet corporate business objectives.
  7. Global Framework: Ability to navigate through a global framework, handle conflicting priorities, and goals.
  8. Industry Experience: Experience in fintech, banking industry, and/or financial markets is preferred.
  9. Cryptocurrency and Blockchain: Experience with cryptocurrencies and knowledge of blockchain technology is preferred.
  10. Vendor Management Platforms: Working knowledge of vendor management platforms and tools.
