Vendor Management Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vendor Management Support Specialist to join our team at Westcon Mexico, S.A. de C.V. As a key member of our supply chain operations team, you will be responsible for the daily administrative management of assigned vendor lines, including material master maintenance, promotion pricing, invoicing, return, and purchase order responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all Vendor Partner orders (20% of time)
  • Understands Returns process and guidelines and monitors returns status
  • Monitors Returns status daily (20% of time)
  • Manages all promotions ensuring budget availability and correct authorizations
  • Monitors expiration dates
  • Timely set-up and accuracy of new part numbers (20% of time)
  • Provides responsive, courteous support to sales, vendor partners, and other internal departments
  • Works collaboratively with Purchasing to monitor purchase/pricing strategies for products
  • May manage smaller product lines and is accountable for sales growth and attainment of profit goals
  • Monitor shared email box (20% of time)
  • Manage SKU Setup & Price Change Process (20% of time)
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting as needed
  • Assist with Vendor Portal Updates
  • Assist with implementing Sales Incentives & Engagements
Requirements:
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • High School Graduate required
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed
  • Able to use common office equipment
  • Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills
  • Possesses strong data entry skills
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and Spanish
  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills
  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Able to be immobile for long extended periods
  • Ability to transport specified weight
