Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Airport Ground Handling Coordinator with FedEx, where you will be responsible for handling packages within airport operations. You will load and unload company aircraft and vehicles in a safe manner, audit size and weight of packages and boxes, sort packages, and ensure the use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx safety policies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading company aircraft and vehicles in a safe manner
  • Auditing size and weight of packages and boxes, sorting packages
  • Ensuring the use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx safety policies
  • Meeting aircraft and transporting packages to sort
  • Cleaning, washing, and providing minor maintenance to company vehicles
  • Operating company vehicles in a safe and secure manner

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Drivers License and good driving record required
  • Basic English Skills essential
  • Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment required
  • Must be able to work variable shifts
  • General vehicle maintenance a plus and power and hand tools experience preferred
