Job Summary

Novartis is seeking a highly skilled Regional Logistics Lead to oversee the logistics operations for Radio Ligand Therapy (RLT) products in the AMERICAS region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational logistics management, with experience in managing radioactive drugs or similar time-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a regional logistics strategy to ensure timely and efficient delivery of RLT products.
  • Manage logistics 3PLs to provide high-level service and act as an escalation point for operational issues and customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites and logistics partners to map out lanes for each treatment site and develop contingency plans.
  • Proactively manage customs and trade compliance risks to ensure a smooth importation process for each shipment.
  • Monitor and capture regulatory updates and report management if impact is significant.
  • Implement regular audits on transportation companies and ensure all Novartis RLT products are transported in compliance with local regulations.

Requirements

  • Higher education in nuclear medicine, pharmacy, medicine, biology, chemistry, etc.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in operational logistics management role with radioactive drugs or similar time-critical operations.
  • Knowledge of local Customs & Environmental Protection Bureau and Health authority requirements for radioactive drugs importation and supervision.
  • Advance English and Portuguese (preferred).
