**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Import Export Assistant to join our team at North American Production Sharing De México S.A. De C.V. This role will be responsible for assisting in activities related to imports and exports, as well as customs compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Generate import and export records, comparing identification information and part numbers, weight or measure new items to be registered.
  • Monitor and review inventories temporarily, submitting permit extensions as required with the support of the import/export department to the Mexican authorities.
  • Identify differences in product type and packaging.
  • Coordinate transportation for imports and exports in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate records of imported raw materials vs. physical inventory in the plant.
  • Follow up on the creation of purchase orders and coordinate air, sea, or land shipments, keeping a log of shipment status from port to port.
  • Work with purchasing and engineering for the creation and classification of new part numbers and changes to BOMs.
  • Audit broker documentation to ensure proper HTC code usage.
  • Keep records of Temporary Imported (To Mexico) Assets, label, and release new incoming items.
  • Support Accounting with asset management tasks.
  • Support Purchasing with transportation optimization.
  • Coordinate with Planning for expedited items.
  • Support R&D with first-time exports to Mexico.

**Requirements**

  • Associate degree in import and export or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export, compliance, and shipment coordination.
  • Experience with processing Federal Express - Domestic and International shipments.
  • Trustworthy, honest, motivated, and team player.
  • Good communication skills, precise, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, participate in product training, and other available resources.
  • Customer service-oriented and proficient in English.

**Work Details**

Full-time position, daytime schedule, on-site work.
