Transform the Future of Rail Transport - Harness Design Expert Wanted

Your Mission:

  • Champion the implementation of electrical and schematic métier rules.
  • Incorporate industry norms, project requirements, and learning from past projects (REX) into your deliverables.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring quality standards align with Alstom's QCD and DFQ processes.
  • Work in concert with various teams such as Advanced Industrialization, EMC, and Maintainability to meet project specifications.
  • Take the lead in creating 3D models of harnesses, coordinating closely with mechanical designers, manufacturing engineers, and S&A designers.
  • Own the fine details of electrical harness design deliverables - BoM kit, formboards, BoM in ERP & DMA, wiring list, Plug Maps, instructions sheets, jig & tools lists, and more.
  • Manage your project timeline effectively to ensure a timely prototype launch.
  • Conduct and lead reviews of harness design deliverables and NEO reviews.
  • Keep our templates up-to-date and ensure the timely updating of deliverables in case of modifications.
  • Act as a problem-solver by responding to FQRs and resolving identified issues.
  • Maintain a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in the harness design process.

Your Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related.
  • Experience in using DMA/Catia Electrical; Cabling/Wiring list software.
  • Knowledge of SEE Electrical, GLC, ELSA, and/or ERP (such as SAP/GSI) is a bonus.
  • Advanced level of English language.
