Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Communication: Work closely with the Sales team to comprehend client requirements and business goals during the early stages of the sales process. Ensure prospective clients recognize the advantages of our solutions through expert technical support and compelling demonstrations, effectively showcasing our product and service offerings in both local and international payment markets.

Customized Product Insights: Act as a technical consultant by providing insights focused on feasible implementations for complex integrations. Guide clients through the Technical Discovery and Design & Qualification phases, outlining achievable steps for merchants to establish a solid partnership.

Technical Architecture and Business Strategy: Deliver technical architecture, support, and management by liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, serving as the primary contact during the pre-sales phase. Design customized solutions that align with client needs while ensuring compatibility with our capabilities. Create technical proposals, high-level diagrams, and documentation that clearly articulate the proposed solutions and their benefits, ensuring alignment with company objectives through thorough technical qualification of opportunities.

Analytical Problem-Solving: Address complex challenges and schedule regular updates to maintain momentum in the sales pipeline, collaborating closely with the Sales team.
Dynamic Demo Creation: Develop and present engaging product demonstrations utilizing demo-building tools, such as COAST or API call samples, to emphasize the advantages of our payment orchestration solutions.
Pre-sales Advocate: Identify and communicate how our solutions enhance the client's business during the pre-sales phase, fostering strong internal communication regarding merchant needs and priorities, particularly in the initial design phase of the payment orchestration solution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineering or similar technical role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing technical pre-sales activities, including discovery, design, and client presentations.
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to interpret complex technical concepts and translate them into viable business solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail in high-pressure scenarios.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and cultivate strong client relationships.
  • Proficient understanding of the payments industry, including cross-border and local transactions.
  • Solid grasp of coding, API, SQL, and programming languages.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing technical teams.
  • Familiarity with payment orchestration solutions and tools like COAST is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloudwatch, New Relic, Kibana, Datadog, or similar systems to diagnose client issues or technical inquiries is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; proficiency in Portuguese is preferred.
