Job Title: AWS Cloud Practice Engineer IV

At Rackspace Technology, we're seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Practice Engineer IV to join our team. As a key member of our cloud practice, you will be responsible for implementing our organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based technical architectures to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with fellow Rackers and customer key stakeholders to deliver projects, such as implementing cloud-based technical architectures, executing migrations, and optimizing applications.
  • Serve as a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, containers, and serverless solutions.
  • Implement automation and DevOps best practices for CI/CD, IaC, containerization, and other cloud-related technologies.
  • Work with customers' engineering teams on a wide variety of projects, including cloud migrations, infrastructure as code, and cloud security.
Requirements:
  • Fluent, bi-lingual (Spanish and English) communication skills.
  • 8-11 years of experience in the field of cloud engineering.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, including AWS services, cloud security, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, containers, and serverless solutions.
  • Knowledge of automation and DevOps tools, including CI/CD, IaC, and containerization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer success.
