About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to join our team at American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business performance and providing strategic insights to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the plant budget and monthly forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Supervise and analyze standard costs to optimize financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the Cost Requests process to calculate factory costs for new parts and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to meet Group requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Supervise and contribute to quarterly SOX audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of French and US accounting procedures (US GAAP).
  • Knowledge of SOX regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Mastery of business management IT tools (ERP, BI) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Professional and technical English language skills (B2 level).
