About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Univar Solutions. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for providing overall Inventory Management and Shipment processing support to our 3rd Party warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform standard Inventory Management and Reconciliation processes for 3PL facilities.
  2. Process all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  3. Develop and implement best practices for overall inventory management and business processes.
  4. Collaborate with purchasing teams to ensure adequate inventory levels using MRP environments.
  5. Support Inventory Management Sarbanes Oxley compliance and risk mitigation.
  6. Train new employees and Operations personnel on the use of SAP and standard Operations/Inventory procedures.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or equivalent.
  2. Excellent communication skills with good knowledge of written and spoken English.
  3. 3 years of experience in Inventory Control.
  4. SAP/BW experience, including MM/PP/WMS and SD modules.
  5. MS Excel skills.
  6. Knowledge of inventory status (FIFO, FEFO, etc.), batch control, and expiration dates.
  7. Experience in inventory reconciliation and cycle count.
