Job Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, automated CI/CD pipelines to facilitate swift and dependable deployments.
  • Establish and supervise cloud infrastructure and deployment methodologies.
  • Quickly address incidents, diagnose problems, and apply solutions to avert future occurrences.
  • Guarantee the reliability, efficiency, and security of cloud solutions.
  • Enforce and uphold security best practices within cloud environments, including access management, encryption, and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the industry, recommending tools to enhance reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide technical advisory support to development teams to ensure alignment with overarching design principles.
  • Architect, deploy, collaborate on, and manage cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, systems, and configurations to support a robust knowledge repository.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to comprehend their needs and integrate new deployment methodologies and strategies.
  • Manage configuration drift and ensure uniformity across various environments.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in cloud computing, DevOps, and Platform Engineering, continuously refining processes and workflows.
  • Balance the need for reliability with the pace of feature development.
  • Mentor and guide team members.

Background & Skills

To excel as a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer at Danfoss, you will be responsible for enabling reliable, scalable, and adaptable solutions. Your role will involve taking charge of the technical foundations of the cloud environment and assisting in the development of a robust platform capable of scaling to meet global business demands.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cloud DevOps Engineer role or similar.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalent.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and platforms.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security practices and experience with integrating security tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud services and platforms (AWS, Azure & GCP), including their service-oriented architecture and APIs.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Skilled in system monitoring and logging solutions using cloud-native tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
  • Passionate about developing valuable cloud technologies for the organization.
  • Agile mindset with proficiency in agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework.
  • Problem-solving attitude and team-oriented spirit.
