The Sales Engineer is a key role at Sanhua International, responsible for driving customer satisfaction, managing accounts, and supporting business growth through excellent service and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional sales service and support to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Account Management: Service existing accounts, secure orders, and establish new accounts by effectively organizing and planning daily work schedules for assigned customers.
- Market Monitoring: Gather and analyze information on pricing, products, new developments, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques to stay informed about current market trends.
- Reporting and Recording: Keep management updated by submitting activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analyses.
- Product Recommendations: Assess and recommend changes in products, services, and policies based on evaluation of results and competitive developments.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints by developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Professional Development: Enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, building personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Professional Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales or account management, particularly targeting automotive customers.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of customer and market dynamics within the automotive Tier 1 and 2 levels, including familiarity with program development requirements and the APQP process.
- Skills: Negotiation and Persuasion, Communication, Problem-solving, Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field, coupled with significant experience in sales.
- Personal Attributes: Strong organizational and time management skills for multitasking; resilience and independence in handling sales targets and client expectations.
- Networking: Proven ability to build and maintain personal networks within the automotive industry.
- CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel (minimum 25%) for client visits or industry events.
