About the Role

Overview

The Diversified Markets Sales Team at S&P Global is focused on driving growth and revenue through new and existing accounts within the Americas. As an Associate Sales Specialist I, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing business opportunities, expanding the company's reach and revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute against sales goals, including accurate forecasting and revenue attainment
  • Qualify and disqualify new business opportunities, identify customer needs and challenges, and deliver solution presentations to new customers
  • Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business in a timely manner
  • Build strong relationships with key decision makers within customers' organizations to expand and strengthen the relationship
  • Provide monthly forecasts and monitor performance-to-plan throughout the fiscal year
  • Manage sales pipeline of new business opportunities in Salesforce and generate leads from face-to-face needs discovery calls with customers

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of sales experience in selling complex enterprise solutions to customers in the automotive industry or related, with knowledge of negotiating and closing sales while building strong relationships with clients.
