**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations and Procurement Manager to join our team at Global Fleet Management Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, services, and equipment through the organization, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to discover cost-effective deals and reliable suppliers, ensuring operational and procurement processes are optimized.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts to ensure quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Budget Management and Cost Control: Develop budgets and monitor expenditures throughout the procurement cycle, promoting a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
  • Inventory Management: Establish and oversee inventory control procedures to ensure availability and optimal stock levels.
  • Team Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements for projects and ensure timely procurement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop new methods for improving efficiency in procurement processes, staying abreast of current industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and operations management, with at least 2 years of experience working with customs in Mexico.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a must.
  • Certifications in procurement or supply chain management are desirable.
  • Strong negotiation, budgeting, and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across cultures.
