**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team at Autozone. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations for new stores, including permits, waste management, and air emissions.

About the Role:
This position requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and experience in environmental studies and permitting. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify environmental permits required for new stores and conduct research to determine timing of compliance
* Create a matrix of environmental compliance per store and follow up with environmental providers
* Implement environmental controls in waste management, including general waste, recyclable waste, and hazardous waste
* Deliver annual reports to environmental authorities, including water and energy consumption data
* Identify applicable regulations regarding air emissions and implement measures to ensure compliance
* Develop an annual environmental budget and identify legal payments required
