Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Kohler Co. as a Talent and Culture Strategist. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing people initiatives that drive operational excellence, organizational agility, and an engaging employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with associates and union leadership to drive positive employee relations and provide an optimal work environment.
- Manage day-to-day operations and development of the onsite Human Resources Team.
- Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes, including talent acquisition, assessment, performance management, and employee development.
- Support plant operations through headcount planning, workforce planning, and recruitment.
- Owner of HR metrics, responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing data.
- Provide strategic and consultative leadership guidance and mentoring to drive business results.
- Identify critical positions and develop succession strategies for those positions.
- Develop and coordinate Human Resources related modules within the Strategic Planning process.
- Resolves employee relation issues and ensures regulatory compliance and risk management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, industrial/labor relations, or psychology.
- Minimum five years' experience in Human Resources, with an emphasis on business partnership, operational excellence, and culture transformation.
- Experience in multiple core functions of HR, including manufacturing HR team leadership, labor relations, employee relations, compensation, recruiting, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and org effectiveness.
- Strong communication skills, data-driven, and computer savvy.
- Bilingual: Spanish & English required.
