About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Garrett Advancing Motion. This role is critical to the success of our operations, and we need someone who can effectively oversee demand processes, communicate directly with customers, commercial, and vendor scheduler-MPS departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating monthly Sales Inventory Operations Plans, which are crucial for plant short-term and long-term operations performance. They will also provide coaching and training to peers and team members, ensuring that everyone is aligned with our goals.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for meeting Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Supply Chain Inventory Operations Plan (SIOP) goals on weekly and monthly inventory targets, supplier delivery metrics, and customer delivery metrics.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of Sales Order Management
  • Handling expedites requests from customers
  • Providing recovery dates for any schedules that will not ship on time
  • Coordinating transportation/logistics with the shipping department and customer
  • Direct interface with customers for expediting and order placement issues
  • Oversight of CS Team forecasting for current plus 3 months
  • Responsible for plant performance metrics (Customer PD & OTTR, Shipments, Premium Freights, etc)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
  • 6+ years' experience in Customer Service or a similar role
  • SAP (preferred)/MRP
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
  • Logistic/Transportation process
  • English proficient (Advanced)
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Possess excellent organizational ability and effectively work with internal and external parties
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills
