About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collections Agent to join our team at Maersk. As a Collections Agent, you will play a critical role in managing our collections process, ensuring timely and accurate payment from our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review statements of account and ensure accurate attention to detail and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client requirements.
- Review business reports, identify outstanding invoices, and generate call lists/priority lists on a daily basis.
- Review on-account payments and advise the Order-to-Cash (OTC) team on where payments should be applied.
- Act as the communication interface between OTC, disputes, and other departments.
- Ensure high-risk customers are escalated to Managers for treatment.
- Monitor payment application and supply relevant updates to the OTC team.
- Monitor disputes.
- Monitor daily emails and ensure timely and accurate responses or forwarding to the correct department/escalation point.
- Liaise with in-country coordinators and sales persons as necessary.
- Adhere to relevant legislation (country/cluster specific).
- Answer customer queries via inbound and outbound calls.
We are Looking for:
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B collections and/or order-to-cash processes.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service in call centers and/or as Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is preferred.
- English language proficiency (oral and written): B2 - C1 (Required).
- Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Commercial degrees, or related fields.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- SAP experience is highly preferred.
