Job Description

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in improving die casting operations within our manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include leading/managing personnel, optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and implementing safety measures to achieve efficient and effective production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the die casting process from initial design through production, ensuring that casting processes meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for process improvement projects, collaborating with toolmakers and designers to optimize tooling for efficiency and quality.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring that all designs meet budgetary requirements and project dates are met.
  • Select appropriate metal alloys for die casting based on product requirements, and optimize casting parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, cycle times) to improve productivity and reduce defects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in die casting operations, including process design, tooling development, and quality management.
  • Strong knowledge of metal alloys, casting principles, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for die and mold design.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot process issues effectively.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • English proficiency is a must.
