Your RoleAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing comprehensive organizational employee training and development initiatives and projects. This will involve supporting local training needs, analyzing delivery, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. You will also lead collective efforts with the management team to manage and develop our employees' needs, resulting in a high-quality workforce and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Exemplify and Teach Our Culture, Mission, and Goals
- Follow the 10 Critical Success Factors and 'What's Expected of a Supervisor' guidelines
- Complete required trainings and 52 hours per year timely
- Own your self-development and prepare, follow-up, and execute on your personal development goals
- Build healthy cross-functional relationships and work environment, promote team spirit, and cohesiveness in the department and branch/corridor staff
- Ensure understanding and compliance of company controls, policies, processes, and procedures
- Ensure strong knowledge and proper use of all Expeditor systems and tools, especially PDC, Smart Recruiter, and Employee Development tools
- Participate and contribute to the development of the strategic plan for Employee Training and Development to create career paths for employees at all levels
As a Training and Development Manager at Expeditors, you can expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
