Job Overview

This role involves ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by fulfilling all regulations, laws, procedures, policies, and corporate standards through audits and invoice sending.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and finance knowledge, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to lead and empower employees, prioritize employee satisfaction, and promote a cohesive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete 52 hours of training per year and adhere to mandatory training deadlines.
  • Exemplify and teach our culture, mission, and goals.
  • Ensure that company controls, policies, procedures, and processes are understood and applied.
  • Own self-development, identify, follow-up, and execute on personal development goals.
  • Escalate necessary issues to immediate supervisors and/or department managers.
  • Inform the Branch's Health and Safety representative of any unsafe conditions or incidents.

Additional Requirements

  • Maintain high compliance levels for all applicable accounting requirements.
  • Review the 'Monitor IVM' report from corporate and follow it up to ensure invoices are sent according to established KPIs.
  • Provide recommendations to customers to improve their process efficiency and quality.
  • Clear customer doubts about billing and ensure they receive data updates.
  • Update and follow up on the Billing Matrix report.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounting preferred.
  • English and Spanish fluency.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Location

Expeditors has over 250 locations worldwide, but this role may be based in various locations. The salary range provided is an estimate based on average US salaries for similar positions.
