About the Role:

As a Technical Unity Expert, you'll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for supporting subscription apps used by millions of children every month. These apps feature high-quality content that engages creative play and exploration.

Our team is driven to create technically complex products, and we're looking for an experienced professional to help us reach new milestones. You'll work with experts who share your passion for creating engaging experiences that delight kids and parents worldwide.

The Recruitment Process:

  1. Profile Preselection: Our Talent Acquisition team will review your profile to ensure it aligns with our requirements and values
  2. Talent Acquisition Interview: Selected candidates will undergo an initial interview to discuss their experience, skills, and fit for the role
  3. Online Test: Qualified candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment to demonstrate their abilities
  4. Technical Interview: Finalists will participate in a technical interview to assess their proficiency and compatibility with our team

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will play a senior role on the team, coaching other developers and working closely with product managers and the rest of the team to meet ambitious milestones
  • Research and design what's possible and figure out how to build it
  • This is not a gameplay programmer role, so your focus will be on non-gameplay features
  • You will work on all things related to our IAP subscription system
  • Create tools that help the team stay productive
  • Support app releases, many of them, across multiple platforms, handling all the details that go into making a successful release

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong OOP skills and proficiency with C#
  • Deep understanding of how to use Unity to create cross-platform mobile apps
  • Past experience leading projects and enjoying coaching other developers
  • Experience or interest in writing native plug-ins for iOS or Android
  • Familiarity with building apps that use IAPs; both local and server-side receipt validation
  • Loving architecting systems, breaking down complicated tasks into distinct solvable components, prioritizing what's important, and providing accurate time estimates
  • Iterate quickly, and write clear and reusable code
  • A degree in computer science/engineering or a resume full of practical experience
