Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Associate Manager to join our Corporate Audit team. As an IT Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading and conducting technology, operational, compliance, and financial audits throughout PepsiCo to identify risks and control breakdowns that may impact the integrity of reported information and/or the achievement of objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct technology, operational, compliance, and financial audits to identify risks and control breakdowns.
  • Review the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), strategic plans, narratives, workflows, and risk control matrix (RCM) to develop an understanding of the processes being audited.
  • Assess and leverage controls testing performed by other groups within PepsiCo.
  • Assist the Audit Director during planning, development of the scope, identification of site visits, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Audit Directors to assess process and strategic risks across PepsiCo, validating relevant risks are identified and addressed in the annual audit plan.
  • Identify financial, operational, and technology risks along with mitigating controls. Evaluate risks to achieving the entity's objectives and control effectiveness to provide assurance and insights.
  • Perform control testing of assigned areas of the audit, review, and coach junior team members through control testing and deficiency evaluation and work steps.
  • Communicate deficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and prepare recommendations for remediation, quantify the potential impact with team members, present to the Audit Director and align with key business stakeholders.
  • Lead and conduct audit status update meetings with management. For identified opportunities, communicate the root cause and impact.
  • Plan and facilitate audit workshops, discussing designed processes and identifying key financial, operational, technology, and compliance risks.
  • Identify and share best practices with the business, across Corporate Audits, and during future audits.
  • Manage and drive assigned areas of the PepsiCo Success Criteria / Global Control Standard (GCS) and provide insights into unassigned areas during calibration meetings.
  • Participate in Corporate Audits Strategic Capability Faster, Stronger, Better initiatives involving process and methodology improvement, best practice sharing, technology adoption (data analytics, digitization), emerging risks evaluation and incorporation (cyber, privacy compliance, third-party management), organizational health and people process (career advancement, recognition, training, evaluations).
  • Leverage overall business and technology knowledge and prior audits to improve effectiveness and develop audit efficiencies.
  • Participate and/or lead onboarding of associates into Corporate Audit.
  • Manage the travel & expense and consulting forecast for audit engagements, providing explanations for variances.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology (Computer Networking Technology, Software Development, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Technology and Systems Architecture, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.).
  • Audit experience (Control testing, ITGC, large-scale transformation programs, etc.).
  • Fluent in English with good communication and presentation skills.
  • Willing and able to travel approximately 10% - 20% domestic and international, as required.
