The payment industry is undergoing significant transformations driven by evolving customer demands, open banking, increased competition, new technology, and modernization of Payment Market Infrastructures. What We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced professional to join our Payments & Payments Market Infrastructures team within the Go-to-market group as a Commercial Manager. This role will support our account Management team for the LAC region, covering the area and contributing to generic responsibilities across the AMUK Payments Team. The ideal candidate will execute our payments markets strategy and go-to-market plans locally through campaigns and projects, working closely with regional business development organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing target and pipeline reports, monitoring performance against various business metrics, and communicating results.
- Demonstrating initiative to solve client issues and requests.
- Building strong relationships with Business Development Teams for exceptional client service.
- Participating in end-user insight research to better understand customers' payments businesses and ecosystems.
- Supporting customer onboarding, product life cycles, delivering sales training, and providing sales and customer support.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need at least 5 years of experience in payments markets or transaction banking services, preferably in a marketing, strategy, business development, or product management position. You should be able to contribute to the development of go-to-market and customer engagement strategies, execute regional adoption and activation plans for SWIFTgpi, act as a product owner regionally for the Swift gpi product, and ensure local communities are equipped for the move to ISO20022 standards.
We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $120,000, considering factors such as location, industry standards, and required skills.
