Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role requires a strong leader who can manage small work teams, ensure team safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and meet business metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning and Execution: Ensure the production plan is met, analyze issues with other roles, and drive continuous improvement activities to improve Zone performances.
- Safety and Risk Management: Ensure a safe workplace, lead the Team to improve Safety in the area, and enforce the use of mandated Safety tools and procedures.
- Quality and Performance Management: Proactively analyze quality KPIs related to the Zone, prioritize quality issues, and properly guide Team Leaders.
- Team Management and Development: Ensure the right allocation of people on the line, manage absenteeism, train, and build teams.
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Possess knowledge of the broader manufacturing organization, mobilize support groups and resources to lead and assist in problem-solving activities, and actively participate in kaizen project activities centered on Safety, Cost, Quality, and Throughput improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Hydraulic, Mecatronic, Manufacturing Engineering, or related degree.
- 5 years of experience in personnel management, PLC/Robots (maintenance, programming, installation, failure analysis, controls), welding, LOTO, PMS, productive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to lead teams.
- Ability to coach/mentor/develop team members.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
