Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of engineers, driving the successful delivery of AI-powered solutions. As an Engineering Manager at Creai, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the engineering team meets technical and business goals, fostering a culture of innovation, and continuously improving development processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, helping them grow in their technical skills and career development.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of AI and software development projects, ensuring high-quality and timely releases.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and data scientists to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes, code quality, and operational efficiency through best practices, automation, and modern engineering principles.
  • Ensure alignment with technical goals and manage resources to ensure team success in meeting deadlines and deliverables.
  • Guide technical decisions, balancing innovation with practicality to achieve scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure engineering efforts align with business goals and performance standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends, applying relevant innovations to improve team capabilities and our products.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within software engineering, focusing on building and scaling engineering teams.
  • Strong technical background in software development, with experience in AI or machine learning a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with software development tools and practices, including agile methodologies, code reviews, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and modern software development languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire teams to achieve their best performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with AI and machine learning systems is a plus.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced technology company is a plus.
  • Advanced degree in a related field or technical certifications in engineering or management.
Work from Anywhere

We offer full remote flexibility. You can work from anywhere worldwide as long as you're available to collaborate during our core hours from 9 AM to 6 PM CST.
