Job Overview

This is a senior-level supply chain role responsible for managing a broad range of moderately complex processes for Hewlett Packard's Latin America Returns Operations. The successful candidate will enhance current business processes and performance metrics by leading regional and global business returns operations, identifying opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes, and contributing to special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes, including inventory analysis and planning, demand management, logistics management, and import/export operations.
  • Independently execute basic demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
  • Drive the analysis conducted for backlog management.
  • Gather demand data from country, region, and account managers to synthesize information using complex analysis, and deliver demand signals to the supply base to contribute to demand forecasting.
  • Coordinate or lead regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance current business processes.
  • Monitor key metrics, create relevant reporting metrics, and review information for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to priority projects with complex analysis and assist in developing recommendations.
  • Communicate requirements and guidelines to the global business unit planning teams.
  • Coordinate, develop, and manage a regulatory trade compliance program.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A four-year or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline.
  • Typically 4-10 years of work experience in supply chain, operations, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver).
  • Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.
  • Excellent internal and external complex-relationship management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Very strong project management skills, with capability to manage cross-functional teams in multiple geographies.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Very strong understanding of HP's overall supply chain strategy.
  • Excellent understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ATP, and master scheduling.
  • Excellent understanding of national and international trade requirements to align customs/trade function with business objectives.
  • Thorough knowledge of inventory modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent understanding in developing and managing a trade compliance program.

Salary Information

We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
