About the Role

As a Program Manager at Google Inc., you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

This critical role involves in-depth analysis of equipment spend and unit costs, driving data-driven decision-making, developing the necessary processes, workflows, reports, dashboards, and controls to deliver visibility, control, and governance in this space.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain costs for all equipment supply chain products (electrical, mechanical, and integrated products) in our centralized cost database.
  • Partner within equipment supply chain and external teams to incorporate costs in supply planning, budget asks, and cost roadmaps to inform decision making.
  • Develop cost benchmarking/analytics to support discussions, justify cost changes, and ensure proper equipment funding. Analyze historical and real-time cost data to inform cost models and continuous improvements.
  • Lead process improvements for the tracking and reporting on savings and cost avoidance. Develop dashboards, reports, and tools to provide visibility, governance, cost insights, and controls to key internal stakeholders.
  • Act as the cost data steward, be responsible for enforcing data governance policies and standards to ensure quality, accuracy, and security of the data. Be responsible for creating, modifying, or deleting data accordingly.
