About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Management Senior Manager to join our team at Wesco International, Inc. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory optimization plans to achieve working capital objectives and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turnover, and costs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize and maintain inventory attributes, and to rationalize and standardize the supplier base.
  • Lead the development and implementation of inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on inventory management principles and practices.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track inventory performance and provide insights for business decisions.
  • Work with customers to understand their inventory needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Lead the development and implementation of inventory management systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with inventory management goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of inventory.
  • Provide input to the development of the company's supply chain strategy and ensure alignment with inventory management goals.
  • Lead the development and implementation of inventory management metrics and benchmarks to measure performance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement financial analysis and reporting to support inventory management decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop insights for business decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
