We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer III to join our team at Jabil Circuit. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems that ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control within our production site.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and implement projects to eliminate waste through the standard Industrial Engineering process, including complex process simulation, operations research, and business model cost analysis.
- Verify time standards prepared within the IE team and update and report key Industrial Engineering metrics for assigned customers or areas.
- Drive key process mapping activities within assigned customers or areas and standardize SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations.
- Prepare quotes for proposed projects within assigned customers or areas and drive process-related activities for New Product Introduction.
- Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Industrial Engineering team and support and/or maintain all lower-level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with global, regional, and site direction and support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement throughout the organization.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- Understanding of Jabil's global strategies and direction.
- Understanding of site facilities, capabilities, and how they tie back to Jabil strategies and direction.
- Strong financial and analytical ability.
- Proven record of accomplishment of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous improvements and cost reduction programs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD skills.
- Mechanical and electrical process knowledge and cabinets.
