Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Dispensing Engineer Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting new product introductions, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation, and installation on production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Development
    • Develop instructions and internal procedures to ensure compliance of changes and modifications required by CN, CoC or central entities.
  • Dispensing Specialist Responsibilities
    • Maintain a clean and highly organized area, and participate in Lean Manufacturing 5S activities.
    • Ensure compliance with BOSCH standards (KFV, VVT, DMD) and develop new process standards according to COC experts.
    • Ensure SEC standards and review new technologies for the dispensing process.
    • Define and follow changes in the process, machinery, parameters, and materials in the dispensing process.
    • Support validation of new part number implementations and new line launches.
    • Train engineers and technicians on dispensing basics, materials used, mix ratio, and parameters of the process.
    • Define and follow the procedures standard and validation for the dispensing process according to VVT, DMD, KFV.
    • Eliminate non-value-added activities.
    • Maintain constant communication with CN colleagues to understand changes and new requirements and communicate them to the MFP group.
    • Identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and vulnerabilities in the process and provide training for engineers and technicians to solve them and implement these trainings and actions systematically.
    • Authority and responsibility to initiate action to prevent nonconformity, identify and record all problems relating to chemical dispensing (TIM, Sealing, Potting, gluing, curing, etc.), safety, and quality system, initiate or recommend solutions, verify the effectiveness of the solutions, and control further processing or delivery of the non-conformance until it has been resolved.
  • Qualifications
    • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics / Electronic / Chemical
    • LANGUAGE: English advanced
    • SKILLS:
    • Ability to work in a team-based environment and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
    • Interpretation of technical drawings.
    • Knowledge in traceability systems (MES, MIS).
    • Knowledge of dispensing and chemicals used in the electronic automotive industry (TIM, gluing, potting, sealing) and their properties.
    • Knowledge in G and M program language.
    • Experience with dispensing suppliers like Bdtronic, Viscotec, Scheugenpflug.
    • Deep knowledge in 2K and 1K materials feeders system.
    • Knowledge of static and dynamic dispensing systems.
    • Experience with different technologies of dispensing headers (Volumetrics cylinders, Gears, screw).
    • Deep knowledge in curing of chemicals (UV, Heat, Humidity, controlled rooms) and technology (REHM, SMT).
    • Knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
    • Experience (3-5 years) as Dispensing Specialist.
    • Basic knowledge of vision systems (Keyence, Cognex).
    • Knowledge in Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids.
    • Deep knowledge in mechanics of materials and thermal transfer.
    • Knowledge in SolidWorks/AutoCAD.
    • Deep knowledge in parameters of the dispensing process.
    • Deep knowledge in dispensing process problems and solutions.
    • Deep knowledge in MSA and SPC (Minitab, Solara or similar).
