About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Spa Therapist to join our team at Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak, a luxury hotel and resort located in a stunning beachfront setting. As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa services to our guests, including massages, facials, and body treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a variety of spa services, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other wellness therapies, according to Accor's standards and protocols.
  • Conduct consultations with guests to understand their needs, preferences, and any medical conditions before recommending appropriate treatments.
  • Be knowledgeable about spa products and services offered and recommend suitable products for guests to purchase.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all spa treatment rooms, equipment, and linens.
  • Offer exceptional customer service, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for all guests.
  • Promote the spa's treatments, services, and retail products, as well as programs, promotions, and discounts available.
  • Accurately record all treatments provided, keeping detailed and confidential records of each client's history.
  • Stay up-to-date with new spa treatments, techniques, and trends by attending training sessions and staying informed.
  • Work closely with other spa and hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and an excellent guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Spa Therapist or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Certification from an accredited school in massage therapy, aesthetics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of various massage techniques, skincare, body treatments, and holistic wellness practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform treatments for extended periods, often standing or moving continuously.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
