We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our team at Universal Electronics Inc. as a key member of our Occupational Health department.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and maintain accurate medical records for all employees, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular health screenings and provide medical consultations to employees in high-risk positions, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Develop and implement health promotion programs to enhance employee well-being and productivity.
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees, documenting incidents and conducting thorough investigations.
- Manage medical supplies and medications, ensuring proper storage and dispensing procedures.
- Collaborate with the EHS Coordinator to conduct audits, safety tours, and participate in safety commission meetings.
- Register and inspect water coolers and cleaning services, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Onboard new employees on EHS protocols, providing essential training and guidance.
- Register safety tickets and participate in accident investigations, contributing to a culture of safety and accountability.
- Oversee the Integral Management System, ensuring its effective implementation and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve operational controls and minimize environmental impact.
- Participate in regular audits and assessments, ensuring the company's commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Technical Nursing.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse, with a strong background in first aid and health programs.
- Office experience and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and employee satisfaction.
Compensation
$12,000 - $14,000 per month
