Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Executive Chef Specialist to join our team at Solaz a Luxury Collection Resort Los Cabos. As an Executive Chef Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing special meals, regulating oven temperatures, and maintaining food logs.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Prepare special meals or substitute items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
  • Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food.
  • Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform Chef of excess food items for daily specials.
  • Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items.
  • Ensure the quality of food items and prepare cold foods according to presentation standards.

Requirements

To be successful as an Executive Chef Specialist, you should have:

  • At least 3 years of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.

About This Role

">

This is a full-time position that requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. You will need to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. You must also be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
