About the Role:
Culinary experts sought for Marriott International. Prepare special meals, regulate oven temperatures, and maintain food logs. Communicate with the Chef and Food & Beverage service staff. Ensure quality and quantity of prepared food.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare special meals or substitute items
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
- Maintain food logs
- Monitor food quality and quantity
- Communicate assistance needed during busy periods
- Inform Chef of excess food items for daily specials
- Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items
- Ensure food quality and presentation
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
Requirements:
- Technical degree in culinary arts or related field
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
