Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our team in LATAM. As a key member of our Total Rewards COE, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining compensation and benefit plans, policies, and programs to attract, retain, and develop talent in partnership with the Total Rewards COE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compensation and benefit plans, policies, and programs to ensure consistency, equity, and validity, taking into account individual country practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Conduct regional market pricings aligned with Kohler's compensation philosophy.
  • Analyze salary surveys and survey information to support competitive compensation classifications and individual pay.
  • Assist in selecting market surveys to purchase and/or participate in for the region.
  • Coordinate the market survey participation process for the region.
  • Provide compensation and benefit policy guidance and strategy to HR and hiring managers in the region, including necessary documentation for proposed changes.
  • Support the maintenance of HR systems, including organization structure and approved jobs, through periodic audits.
  • Drive the completion of annual compensation merit increase process in the region, including coordinating administrative non-exempt and exempt compensation increases in partnership with the Total Rewards COE team.
  • Responsible for assessing market and partnering with HR and the business for annual wage and benefit increases for all manufacturing plants in LATAM.
  • Design benefit programs that aid in the attraction and retention of associates.
  • Participate in local benefit benchmarking surveys to obtain data and further analyze to support the position of our benefit plans in the market.
  • Review current benefit packages in the region against local, country, and regional practices to understand the competitiveness of current benefit packages and make recommendations regarding benefit plan design changes based on median market benchmarking.
  • Work with Total Rewards COE and HR to prepare necessary documentation to obtain approval of benefit plan design and external vendor changes. Lead the implementation of changes locally.
  • Partner with the Total Rewards COE to support and drive the wellness and recognition programs in the region as the regional lead.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree specializing in Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources with extensive prior experience in Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits).
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to compensation, benefits, and payroll administration.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Certifications are a plus.
