Job ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of our team, you will:
- Conduct live and virtual customer meeting presentations and demonstrations to showcase Veeam's capabilities.
- Implement and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs) to technical closure, ensuring seamless integration with customer environments.
- Support lead generation activities, such as events, webinars, and user groups, to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements.
- Provide technical expertise on data protection, consulting with customers to address their unique needs.
- Work closely with the sales department to secure new partners and customers, driving revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Product Management to gather customer feedback, informing product development and improvement.
- Offer pre-sales support to customers evaluating Veeam software, ensuring a smooth evaluation process.
- Train and mentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team success.
- Guide others in resolving complex issues in specialized areas, leveraging existing solutions and procedures.
- Travel as required, representing Veeam at customer sites and industry events.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated solution sales and/or technical presales experience, preferably in the data protection industry.
- Industry-based experience with data protection technologies, storage, network, and/or cloud-based technologies.
- Experience working with monitoring tools and frameworks, as well as data life-cycle management with IT audit requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with virtualization technologies and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to groups and act as a point-of-reference for new hires and peer colleagues.
- Industry-relevant professional certifications are desirable.
