About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global People Operations Specialist to join our team at Maersk. In this role, you will work closely with our Regional People Partnering Leadership Team to build a new Regional People Partnering team in the Americas.

As a Global People Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the People Strategy, planning and coordinating regional activities related to the deployment of the new regional organizational structure, and ensuring timely execution and aligned approach.

You will also be responsible for regional coordination of all people moves in the HR organization, being the central point of contact for in-country HR across the Americas.

In addition, you will deliver support, including HR operations, to the People Partnering Organization in the Americas, driving the annual HR cycle and providing tactical and operational guidance and coaching to leaders on HR matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sparring partner to Regional People Partnering Leadership Team
  • Partner with HR Business Partners on the implementation of the People Strategy
  • Plan and coordinate regional activities related to deployment of the new regional organizational structure
  • Regional coordination of all people moves in the HR organization
  • Deliver support, including HR operations, to the People Partnering Organization in the Americas

We are looking for a candidate with 5 years of experience as an HR generalist, Workday as primary ERP, Project Management experience or PMI certification, and fluency in English and Spanish.
