Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the food and beverage department, implementing and maintaining internal controls, and overseeing the flow of goods in and out of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and administer financial operations to ensure efficient supervision of food and beverage controls and costs.
  • Receive and verify suppliers' invoices and monthly statements, matching invoices and receiving slips against purchase orders and market listings.
  • Prepare accounts payable vouchers and control the flow of goods in and out of the receiving, storerooms, main kitchen, and F&B outlets.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventories, preparing physical inventory reports for food, beverages, mini-bar, operating supplies, and S.O.E. Perpetual inventories are undertaken as necessary.
  • Establish daily and monthly food and beverage costs per outlet and prepare daily profit and loss statements per outlet if monitored.
  • Cost all recipes before implementing new dishes on the menu and establish provisional P&L statements for special events.
  • Establish sales statistics on a daily and monthly basis, discussing slow-moving items, high-cost items, and low-cost items with the F&B Manager and/or Assistant F&B Manager.
  • Prepare month-end closing reports for food, beverage, mini-bar, and operating supplies, taking care of month-end adjustments and related functions in coordination with the Accounting Manager and/or Director of Finance.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Accounting or a related field.
  • Previous work experience in the same field.
  • Good leadership skills and adaptability to occasional high-pressure situations.
