About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Case and Strategy Consultant to join our team at Blue Power Partners in Mexico City. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our renewable energy projects across the Americas.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and owning the business case for wind, solar PV, storage, and power-to-X infrastructure development projects
  • Working closely with our internal modeling team to create robust and precise analytical work
  • Representing Blue Power Partners in commercial and market strategy aspects of our projects
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exploring, defining, and communicating the investment thesis behind each project
  • Preparing and presenting decision support material for key stakeholders

You will be expected to work 40 hours per week at our Mexico City office, with some flexible arrangements possible upon coordination.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in the clean energy sector. Your ideal profile should include:

  • A BSc and/or MSc in Engineering, Energy Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in the clean energy sector or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding
  • Proficiency in math optimization, investment strategies, and financial evaluation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
