**Key Responsibilities:**

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team and take on the following responsibilities:

  1. Manage debt collection for all America Markets, ensuring timely completion of daily transactional tasks and supporting the Team Lead in handling other ad-hoc tasks.
  2. Follow up on overdue payments and collections.
  3. Advise on payment allocation and fronting customers.
  4. Order release, monitoring of credit limit utilization, sending of weekly aging reports, reconciliation of customer accounts, and follow up on CTT, claims, and deduction issues.
  5. Collection worklist, including pre-collection, and customer account statements.
  6. Provision calculations check, doubtful, and bad debt adjustments, and credit risk wheel involvement to highlight collection issues.
  7. Outsourcing to Intrum/lawyers, auditor's reconciliation, and month-end debtor reporting and control tool tasks.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Several years of professional working experience, preferably in a related financial role or position with transferable skills.
  2. Experience with SAP and MS Office tools.
  3. Good crisis management and problem-solving skills.
  4. Personal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key partners and collaborators.
  5. Confidence in making informed and justifiable decisions for your functional area.
  6. Preferably proven working experience in a multinational company.
  7. Ability to keep to SLA promises and have a sense of urgency.
  8. Knowledge of how to use PDCA as an improvement tool.
  9. Ability to identify root causes of problems.
  10. Good crisis management skills and ability to contain issues effectively.
  11. Very good command of English.
