**Job Summary:**

The Technical Specialist role involves delivering high-quality technical support and services to our customers, helping them succeed in their daily operations and improve patient outcomes. Our team uses state-of-the-art technologies to design and support cutting-edge products, including automation, robotics, electronics, lasers, and optical components.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide prompt and thorough responses to customer inquiries via telephone and written communication.
• Generate and maintain accurate complaint documentation, adhering to FDA (21 CFR) and ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Field personnel, to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Support our 24/7 Technical Service phone line, offering emergency assistance during rotations of evening, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage.
• Promote a culture of data privacy and security related to Protected Health Information (PHI) and HIPAA regulations.
• Contribute to team goals and objectives through active participation and collaboration.

**Requirements:**

• B.S. Degree in Life Science required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical or reference microbiology laboratory, hospital or reference cytology laboratory, industrial microbiology laboratory (pharmaceutical environmental monitoring and/or food microbiology testing), or biotech/academic molecular laboratory.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Conversational English proficiency.
• Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to varying complexities.
• Self-motivated and action-oriented team player, able to multi-task and adapt to changing business environments.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Experience as a Cytotechnologist (ASCP) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP), or Master of Science degree with a Molecular Biology focus are preferred. Experience with medical devices and equipment, particularly BD equipment, is also beneficial.

**Estimated Annual Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 USD**
