Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Wood. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing or supporting the application of quality principles, systems, and measures across a program or project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and regularly engage with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
  2. Resource Planning: Support the effective planning and allocation of resources (including people and budgets) enabling delivery of agreed objectives and deliverables.
  3. Quality System Implementation: Implement the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across your organization, ensuring its effective application and routine monitoring, assessment, and improvement as necessary. Facilitate external BMS certification as appropriate.
  4. Quality Supporting Systems: Ensure consistent and effective implementation of Quality supporting systems across your organization (e.g., NCR, Progressive learning, and Customer satisfaction systems).
  5. Tender and Proposal Support: Support tenders and proposal activities for your organization.
  6. Risk-Based Assurance: Plan and execute risk-based assurance plans, including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders.
  7. Delivery Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to senior leaders and undertaking intervention as required.
  8. Customer Feedback: Gather and act upon customer feedback, ensuring action is taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Degree/diploma or local equivalent in Quality management, project management, or related discipline (essential).
  2. Lead Auditor Qualification: Lead Auditor qualification by recognized industry body (essential).
  3. Professional Membership: Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations, Project Management Institute or equivalent (desirable).
  4. Root Cause Analysis Training: Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques (essential).

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  1. Experience: 10+ years relevant experience (preferably in associated industry).
  2. Industry Standards: Comprehensive understanding of industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19011, and associated Wood Standards).
  3. Analysis and Data Skills: Proficient in the analysis of processes and data.
  4. Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  5. Communication Skills: High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format.
  6. Continuous Improvement Tools: Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
