We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Wood. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing or supporting the application of quality principles, systems, and measures across a program or project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and regularly engage with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
- Resource Planning: Support the effective planning and allocation of resources (including people and budgets) enabling delivery of agreed objectives and deliverables.
- Quality System Implementation: Implement the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across your organization, ensuring its effective application and routine monitoring, assessment, and improvement as necessary. Facilitate external BMS certification as appropriate.
- Quality Supporting Systems: Ensure consistent and effective implementation of Quality supporting systems across your organization (e.g., NCR, Progressive learning, and Customer satisfaction systems).
- Tender and Proposal Support: Support tenders and proposal activities for your organization.
- Risk-Based Assurance: Plan and execute risk-based assurance plans, including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders.
- Delivery Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to senior leaders and undertaking intervention as required.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and act upon customer feedback, ensuring action is taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree/diploma or local equivalent in Quality management, project management, or related discipline (essential).
- Lead Auditor Qualification: Lead Auditor qualification by recognized industry body (essential).
- Professional Membership: Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations, Project Management Institute or equivalent (desirable).
- Root Cause Analysis Training: Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques (essential).
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Experience: 10+ years relevant experience (preferably in associated industry).
- Industry Standards: Comprehensive understanding of industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19011, and associated Wood Standards).
- Analysis and Data Skills: Proficient in the analysis of processes and data.
- Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Communication Skills: High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format.
- Continuous Improvement Tools: Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
