About the RoleThis internship provides invaluable hands-on experience, allowing you to contribute to various human resources functions within the organization. You will support the HR team in executing day-to-day tasks and projects, ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations. As a Strategic Human Resources Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain insights into the organization's workforce dynamics and develop a comprehensive understanding of human resources management.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in posting job vacancies on job boards and company career websites; Prepare new hire orientation materials and support the onboarding process.
- Employee Relations: Collaborate with the HR team to address employee inquiries and concerns; Assist in conducting employee satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback.
- Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and events.
- HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System); Assist with HR documentation, such as offer letters, contracts, and termination paperwork.
- Compensation and Benefits: Assist in gathering data for compensation surveys; Help maintain and update employee benefits information.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A basic understanding of HR principles and practices is preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You must also be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
Affinity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and proficiency in using these tools are necessary. Detail-oriented individuals with strong organizational and multitasking abilities will thrive in this environment. Proactivity, a willingness to take on new challenges, and a positive attitude are highly valued.
